Centro is the organisation responsible for promoting the use and future development of the various forms of public transport across the whole of the West Midlands County. It aims to achieve a world class, integrated and easy to use system, helping to boost the economy and serve our ever-expanding local cities and towns. 

With overwhelming support from the public for continuing the development and improvement of the West Midlands, Centro is working closely with partners in the public transport field in order to provide the infrastructure needed to support and advance the economic prosperity and standard of living of the region.

Centro’s mission statement is: “To increase the use of public transport, through partnership, to improve the economic, environmental and social well-being of the West Midlands.”

So whether you travel by bus, train, Metro or a combination of all three, Centro is dedicated to working towards ensuring that the region benefits from frequent and convenient services which match the needs and aspirations of the West Midlands as a whole.
